Merchandise Return Policy

In general, Telecor products are not returnable. However, Telecor may, at its sole discretion, accept product returns for credit subject to the conditions of section 10.

A) No merchandise returned for repair/replacement or credit will be accepted without prior authorization and identified by an RA # (Return Authorization Number) issued by Telecor, Mississauga. Telecor cannot be responsible for items returned without an RA #.

B) Merchandise being returned for credit is subject to a 20% restocking charge. Only current models of manufactured products will be considered for return for restocking purposes. All material returned for restocking must be returned in the original packaging and free of any defects. All returns should be sent freight prepaid and all freight charges are to be assumed by the customer.

C) Authorized warranty returns must be shipped prepaid in adequate cartons and packaging to prevent transit damage. It is the responsibility of the customer to insure the goods for their full value, for the customer’s own protection, in the event that goods are damaged in transit. Verification of warranty will be established upon receipt. A report defining difficulty and symptoms encountered must accompany each item. Returns may be subject to restocking or refurbishing charges after examination at our plant.

D) Used goods will not be accepted for credit.

E) All returns must be fully and legibly documented with an RA #, purchase order, shipper and consignee’s full name and address, model and serial numbers of product, and the reason for return. Documentation should be enclosed in carton #1. DO NOT ATTACH TO THE OUTSIDE OF CARTON. The RA # should be displayed on the outside of carton in close proximity to, or on the shipping label.

Repair & Warranty Procedure

A) In-Warranty Repair

Telecor’s Technical Support department will issue a Return Authorization Number (RA #). Returned Items must clearly indicate an RA #. Telecor cannot be responsible for items returned for repair without an RA #.

The product must be shipped back prepaid, in adequate cartons and packaging to prevent transit damage. A short but clear description of the defects encountered, along with the RA # must accompany each item. Verification of warranty will be established upon evaluation of the returned goods, in accordance with Limited Warranty Policy. The returned product will be repaired or replaced at Telecor’s option and returned to the customer, surface freight prepaid. If the customer wishes to expedite a faster delivery, it will be their responsibility to pay the freight expenses.

If no problem is found, the product will be returned upon receipt of payment for shipping and a minimum charge. Repairs and return shipping charges must be paid in advance, after the customer is notified of the cost. Items for which payment is not received within 60 days of a customer notification being issued will be considered to be abandoned by the owner, and may be disposed of by Telecor Inc. In no case will Telecor be held liable for abandoned items. Repaired products will be warranted for (90) days or the balance of the original warranty, whichever lasts longer.

Goods received with missing components/parts, will be repaired, the missing components replaced and charged accordingly.

B) Out-of-Warranty Repair

Out-of-Warranty returns for repair should be shipped back prepaid, in adequate cartons and packaging to prevent transit damage. Returned items must clearly indicate an RA #. Telecor cannot be responsible for items returned for repair without an RA #. Telecor’s Technical Support department will issue an RA# on request.

A short but clear description of the defect encountered must accompany each item. Shipping charges, both inbound and outbound, are the responsibility of the party returning the goods. Estimates will be provided in advance (billed at increments of one hour labor) in addition to the repair charges. In the event that the repair costs should exceed 75% of the cost of a replacement unit, Telecor reserves the right to refuse the repair. The repair will be charged according to the labor and material required.

Repairs and return shipping charges must be paid in advance after the estimate is issued, before the repairs can be performed. Items received for repair, which has not been authorized within 60 days of an estimate being issued, will be considered to be abandoned by the owner, and may be disposed of by Telecor Inc. In no case will Telecor be held liable for abandoned items. Repaired material will carry a 90 day warranty on the work performed.

Acceptance of Exchange Orders

All exchange orders are subject to final acceptance by Telecor. Telecor reserves the right to refuse advanced replacement at Telecor’s discretion. Telecor reserves the right to choose the method of shipment unless the customer specifies in writing (fax) and authorizes a specific route-carrier.
