Regional Sales Manager


As a Regional Sales Manager, you will develop and manage Channel Partner accounts and relationships and expand market share. This position will focus on maintaining existing Channel Partners and also growing and developing new Partners in the SOUTHWEST region of the USA. This includes the state of Texas and adjacent States. You will ensure the Channel Partners are providing a high level of service, quoting projects to reach established quotas, working with Engineers to lead with Telecor specifications.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Plan effective strategy to grow sales.
  • Establish and build relationships with key Channel partners
  • Develop new and potential Channel Partners
  • Build and maintain influential relationships with architects, engineers and consultants
  • Conduct Product Presentations to various audiences
  • Channel Partner development. Solicit opportunities through new construction & bidding
  • Train and assist Channel Partner sales personal on Telecor solutions and competitive positioning
  • Understands pending business and tracks wins and losses. Takes an active role to close pending opportunities.
  • Participates in the development of channel partners action plans.
  • Forecasts effectively and pipeline reviews
  • Knowledge of what competition’s products and what they are doing in the market.
  • Provide full and ongoing product training, system design and support
  • Effectively manage Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities and Pipeline in CRM following company guidelines and procedures
  • Manage Social Media relationships and promote Telecor’s products across platforms

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related sales experience in low voltage product sales.
  • Proven record of success developing successful sales territory
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Must be willing to travel 20%
  • Have a current valid passport

Preferred qualifications:

  • Selling in a low voltage environment preferred
  • Experience selling in the Higher Education market is a plus
  • Previous manufacturer representative sales experience
  • Technical sales experience
  • Ability to define specifications and standards for end users
  • Experience with Sales CRM
